I was 19 when I met this guy. He was 30 at the time and very charming. We were together for 2 years before I found out that he is an acoholic, emotionally abusive, a habitual liar and a chronic cheater with a long history of cheating and lying to his gfs. He thinks that flirting and picking up other girls is just a game and says he does it to keep in practice as a player. The problem is, he tends to target girls like me--naive, without a great deal of dating experience and trusting, and is very good at presenting himself as a sweet, trustworthy and sensitive person at the onset. Is there anything I can do to stop this jerk from continuing to manipluate and hurt girls like me?

Short of placing an ad on TV, radio, or the newspaper, no... there's probably nothing you can do about it.
But what you can do is forget about him and move on with your life!

Not really.. unless you want to look like a jealous ex girlfriend. I dated a similar guy- women have to learn from their own mistakes- they don't care what he did to you because they'll always assume that he loves them so much more than he ever did you. It's how us women think- we're ignorant to the ways of men until it slaps us in the face (sometimes literally).

You can not! It's slander and you will pay that cost. People sometimes have to learn their own lessons. Sorry you went through that! Best you can do is warn them only if you know them....otherwise the chick will think your a psycho ex retaliating!

You can tell your friends, but unfortunately, if you "warn" women too much, you come across like a jealous, vengeful, shrew. Tell your friends. They'll trust your sincerity. Tell anyone else and you'll only end up looking badly to them, esp. when he laughs and dismisses you as his "old girlfriend who's stalking him and trying to get him back." Believe me that's exactly what he'll tell them.

I do understand how you feel and if someone does come to you and ask..be honest..but other than that you cant do much. just mark it as a learning experience and those girls will have to learn too.

let him move on, and let him come to terms by himself that no woman will love his way. if you don't, you'll be his last woman and his only "target". hopefully he'll meet up with a woman/man that will bring him to his knees and make him realize that he's a dog.

I dont think so, if u say anything to the girls, they will confront him and then he will explain it away saying"she's in love with me, she's jealous, she wants me for herself". I know its horrible, but i think its best if u just stay away from him.

pray. . .or they'll just have to find out for themselves, like you did. sometimes if you try and tell them then they might think your trying to chase them away from him.

You can be mean about it, and post signs and flyers, otherwise, there ain't much you can do.
