I would like something that you don’t usually drink on an average day. It has to be simple and not complex and just a reminder *kid friendly*, my younger nieces and nephews are going to be drinking this too.
Thanks in advance
Jessica

Either sparkling grape juice... comes in bottles that look like champagne, which always makes them feel grown up or
Shirley Temples

INGREDIENTS
6 fluid ounces 7Up
1 tsp grenadine syrup
1 maraschino cherry
DIRECTIONS
Into a tall glass, pour soda and grenadine over ice. Add cherry and straw.

I loved the Lime or Orange sherbet with Sprite. Punch!

I also loved the "watered down" crangrape with floating pineapples or orange slices on the glasses. I thought those were so fancy! In large water glasses with stems or wine glasses. Made to look like red wine at the table.

We also had "shirley temples" or "roy rogers" Sprite with cherry juice and a cherry in it. Yummy.

Brown cows- Rootbeer 3/4 glass with milk (blended or icecream) in a iced glass.

Sprite and Ginger Ale were the only mixers I ever needed.
Anything went with them and made it special for the kids.
Hawaiian punch and sprite even works!

Martinelli's sparkling cider which comes in 3 different flavors

Cranberry juice or you can make punch out of it by adding 7up which is yummy.

Edit: There are two similar drinks, one is Shirley Temple and the other is Roy Rogers. I forget which is which but one is made with 7up and grenadine syrup and the other is Coke and grenadine. Both are garnished with a maraschino cherry.

How about sparkling grape juice (Welch's makes some in white and regular "purple")? That way they get to have a "grown up" looking drink too.. you could serve it in plastic champagne glasses or plastic wine flutes...

And if they don't finish it all, once it goes in the fridge it turns into regular grape juice once it goes flat, lol. No waste...

I always loved the stuff!!!! Only got it on New Year's to keep it special. I still love it even over the real thing, lol, and I'm 36 years old :-)

Shirley Temples:

A glass of 7up/ sierra mist/ sprite
and
splash of grenadine (available in the mixed rink section of any store) or if you can't get grenadine then use maraschino cherry juice.
Should be pink and yummy.

Spiced cider:

Apple cider
Spices, in any combination: Cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla.

Heat in a pot and serve warm. As an added bonus, you can add any liquer for an adult version.

Sparkling cider, sparkling grape juice (Welch's is sooooo good), ginger ale, or create a punch of your own. Try mixing ginger ale or even club soda with a fruit juce and add shebert. My mom has done this for a few Thanksgivings and many many kid birthday parties and everyone loves it. Happy Thanksgiving!! :)

Martinellies has a sparkeling apple juce. I serve it when I have my fiances nice over (shes' under age) It looks like champaing, but it's only juce. LEts them feel grown up without the alcohol :) You can also give them egg nog without the alcohol. You can make it a little thinner with some 1% milk if it's too sweet.

Fruit Punch spiked with 7 up or Sprite. I use several different fruit juices, but my mother in law use several different flavors of kool aid and adds 7 up, either way is very good.

You can mix any kind of juice to a lemon-lime based soda and it'll be good.
You can also use Kool-Ade and put sprite or something in it......throw in a few orange slices or pineapple chunks too to make punch. Simple and delicious.

Welch's Passion fruit juice mixed 50/50 with club soda. It tastes wonderful and my kids love it as do all of the adults in the family.
