Yes he is mentioned in the Quran, but some scholars are unsure if it is referring to him or not. But i can give you the chapter for you to read if you like. THE CAVE 18:82 . Asallum allikum. But if it is him then yes he would be a muslim as a follower of Moses (PBUH)

The one your're refering to is Thu Ulqernain, it does not say he was a Muslim. In any case he was a believer in God, that its enough.
Alexander was not mentioned in the Quran.
May I point out that you should say: jazakum Allah khairun. Allah should be written in capital A, this is the name of God.

Alexander the Great is NOT mentioned in the Qur'an, at least not by that name. And, my dear learned friend, how could Alexander have been a Muslim when he lived 356-323 BCE LONG BEFORE Muhammad (POO-BOO) the true founder of Islam (NOT Allah, the Muslim's imaginary god)?
