God will not bless or help us unless we worship and kiss his behind on a daily basis. So why should I be expected to do any different? Lead by example and its obvious by the condition of the world that god does not give a crap about us.

Your view of God is way off. Don't you realize that God make the sun shine on the good as well as the bad. He gives breath to the people who curse him. He so much wants all people to get right in their heart because he loves everybody. He doesn't need our worship but like it or not we all worship all the time. But if we do not worship the God of heaven and earth than we worship false gods. We worship ourselves, money, sex, etc. The reason we worship God is because he deserves it. He is giving all the world a chance to get right. He didn't have to send his son to die for you but he did because you need his salvation. Get it now and be wise because when you die it is too late. It is an awesome experience to have a loving relationship with the God of the universe. Don't be foolish.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

GOD BLESSES EVERY ONE GOOD OR BAD IN THERE PHYSICAL NEEDS.
Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
YOU HAVE A LOT OF AUDACITY TO THINK THAT GOD ONLY BLESSES THOSE THAT WORSHIP HIM. ONLY THOSE WHO ARE SAVED CAN PARTAKE OF THE SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS FOUND IN CHRIST.
Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
DON'T BLAME GOD. HE MADE THE WORLD VERY GOOD.
MAN SCREWED UP.
Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
GOD GAVE US ANOTHER CHANCE AND WE'VE JUST KEEP ON MESSING IT UP. TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY .

With all due respect, your original premise is off the mark.
Your second allegation (re world conditions) reveals you have never read 1 John 5:19 "the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one."
Thirdly, the attitude displayed hints you wish more to complain, than learn.

Ummm, No.

I admit it readily, I am BY FAR, not the best Christian. Yet I have a wonderful husband, blessed with 4 healthy, intelligent and beautiful children, my family is all well, and I have everything to be thankful for. I am blessed daily, and I should give God more than I do.

Im working on it.

You are incorrect. Because God loves all of us he blessed all of us with the gift of free agency. He then provided laws whereby we can receive blessings if followed. If you believe in God, then you should not be doing much different then trying to follow the laws he provided. However, either way we are subject to the consequences of our decissions. As to the condition of the world, this is not God's doing, but it is the doing of man, those who have used their freedom to choose to choose contrary to the will of God, and God will not interfere with our agency.

Stop waiting for god to clean up the mess that humans have made. If you concentrate on such virtues as peace, love and compassion you can make the world a better place. You don't have to believe in god to experience these things and use them to make the world a better place.

What a bitter bitter person you are. If you are so set against any religion then don't concern you self with what others are doing. You can lead a happy fulfilled life without religion but first you have to actually learn to like yourself and others.

What religion are you talking about? I worship a God that gave us free choice and will to worship Him.

I've never met this "Religion" fellow you speak of...but he sounds like a fairly unenlightened bloke. (Seriously though, I don't know of ANY religion that believes God will only help us if we help Him first. What religion are you speaking of?)
