For me it's to follow a wisdom that no man today could possibly attain. We simply can't imagine the love Christ had for mankind, and the messages God gave us through him, to testify the lord Jesus Christ is simply an honour in my eyes, Amen and God bless

It means nothing really ....unless you provide the context.
Although, 'testify' most often means to bear witness.
Therefore, a trepidacious answer would be to make known God (who is NOT Jesus) to whomever may wish to listen.

I call it confess but no big difference. To me this means a willingness to identify with Jesus before the world... Jim

my dad always said " I'd rather see a good sermon than hear one. " so this is the kind of sermon he did. never tooted his own horn by letting others know what he did, just doing things which helped others on a daily basis. such as giving a person a jump for their car; taking them to the gas station; buying lunch; a cup of coffee; giving a person a ride home, to the store, doctor, etc. all dad asked was that the person remember a kindness and " pass it on. " this was a testament worth repeating.

The word "testify" comes from the Romans.... In ancient Rome, when you spoke in a legal trial, you placed your hands on your testicles and swore to tell the truth - or the penalty was your nutsack!! Hence "testi-fy" in court.....
So, I guess for them it means offering your balls on the chopping block of God? I dont know...Im an Atheist...

I think you already know that Y_Doncha has given you the correct answer. Look it up. I take it you also realize that the word "seminary" comes from the word "semen", and means "seed bed" (for new priests). You can tell this is a faith designed by people who aren't getting much, can't you?

Testimony is speaking in your own words about what God has done for you.
If he can pull someone like me out of the burnded ashes of my sin,he can do it for anyone.
