ok when he is acting like a grumpy little two year and constantly putting me down and acting me how do i turn it around.

just talkin to him and asking him to stop doesnt work. Attacking him back doesnt work.

When he calls me hopeless, a retard etc it really hurts my feelings, i know he doesnt me it he is just angry. How do we get things back on track to a loving, supportive relationship?

You cannot turn him around. What you CAN do is turn yourself to the nearest exit and RUN!

He is verbally abusing you and you are wondering how to make him stop? You won't. LEAVE. It won't stop.

If you want a loving, supportive relationship then go find a loving, supportive partner.

All you will have with this guy is an abusive, explosive relationship.

And, why in the world would you stoop to his level and allow him to take you into the mud with him. Do not play tit for tat with him. All that will happen if you try to play his game is that you add fuel to the fire.

Walk away. The fire he has will kill you.

It doesn't sound like her respects you very much, not to mention loves. If he refuses to stop putting you down, calling you names and hurting your feelings, the only thing you can do is to leave.

You have to be with a loving, supportive person to have a loving, supportive relationship. Find a person that is all that, and you have the relationship you are looking for.. Dump this loser....

join the crowd....I have a grumpy one too! I have set up counseling for us. And, if he should not show up...I'm going anyway to help me keep my sanity. I am tired of waiting for him to get over whatever and I don't plan to take it anymore. You are right, talking and argueing does NOT work. I'm not sure you can always get it fixed...maybe we just have to make a choice. Good luck with yours. It does help to talk on here too.

Let him go....he's showing you how he will act during the entire relationship. Better to move on, he had his chance and blew it by calling you a retard...
