Why I can't read in Thai language?

First I want to let anybody that think Thai language is stupid and we are stubborn know that we are not..
but we just love to keep and proud to have our own language which is not just developed from others.
And now our country has English news and we even speak English in the class too.

For the question..I don't know the reason that you want to read Thai. Or you have to live in the country (which is shouldn't be a problem if you can't read) or if you married with Thai.

For my opinion..
You have to ask yourself if you're trying enough to learn to read.
Nobody can read before than can speak. I have to take at least half of my life to learn English (speak, listen, read and write)
(since I was a kid and my dad gave me my first English country music tape) and that's because I love English and want to learn.
Nothing ever harder than yourself to try. Just have to put your heart in it.
Anyway, I'm Thai and always think whoever that's not Thai and they can speak and even read our language, they are so cool and look soo cute.
You don't have to be perfect in other language that's not yours.. Just let them see that you're trying and that's from your heart then you will be fine even in their country.

I'm not sure I understand the question. But, maybe you can't read Thai because you haven't studied Thai. It's not that hard.
