My son also did this a few times when he was around that age. His bedtime was at 8:30. I usually go to bed around 11:00. I started waking my son up and taking him to the bathroom before I went to bed. That seemed to work. You could also try not letting him have much to drink after dinner.

WOW!! I'm in amazement that your son was able to be potty trained at such a young age.. That might be the problem though.. I would suggest to stop drinking 2-3 hrs b/f he goes to bed and hopefully that will work..

Limit his fluid intake after five I am not saying don't let him drink but say after supper he gets one more cup of drink and that's it until the morning. I have a nephew that I have to seriously limit and if I give in like I have lately ( coughing and being sick) then I have to wake him up in the middle of the night when I wake up to remind him to go pee and then it;s back to bed. Good Luck

Try to limit what he drinks at bed time and wake him up when you go to bed and have him go potty.

Limit his drinks after 6 pm. Also, it might be because he is having some sort of anxiety or bladder control problem. Speak to your doctor because they would be able to diagnose the problem better than anyone on the internet.

This is normal for this age. My daughter did it in Kindergarten. Get him some of those "Goodnites" underwear and he will outgrow it. You also might want to rule out anything physical with your Dr.
