But the thing is that you will always have to deal with his lies. You need to break up with him and give him some space. You can't change him and it is better to realize this now. Think about it, if he lies about small stuff, just think about the big stuff he will lie about. I married a lier and his lies did not surface until after we were married and expecting our first child. I CAN NOT TRUST HIM! I know that this can be a sickness and is treatable, but your trust can never be refreshed! My husband is a wonderful man also and i love him very much, but he has hurt me so bad that my heart may never be repared and to live in a marriage without trust is truly misreable! Get out while you still can and maybe he will get help for himself, but he has to do it. You can not do it for him and if he does not do it on his own he will always lie to you.

Do you really want to waste your time on a guy like that? People that lie about anything and every thing actually believe their own lies. You can never trust a liar. Quit trying to help a guy that can't help his self. You need to move on and find someone better, and tell the guy you can't be with him because of his problem.

Wow for one thing I would be careful of calling him a man, sounds like a boy to me.
He has problems deeper then what you can do for him. You appear to have some problems to with putting up with these lies.
Has he been to a doctor to make sure he has not got schizophrenia? Impulsive lying someday will get him into a lot of trouble if it has not already...You will never know the entire truth about this person.
Both of you need help.....

stealing is favourite of a klepto of course because it fairly is it is definition yet him stealing some cases does not propose one is a klepto. is he doing this for thrills or does he want money and what's he doing with a stolen 20$. do you want to be an enabler for problematic drugs which will really worsen. if he needs the money for gas or in spite of you may say 'in case you want money only ask.' or have you ever already lengthy handed through that and determined you're literally not or can't be handing out money each and each and every of the time. i'd keep a lady round to have sex with and can provide her some money for heroine now and again. isn't that what marraige is.

It is not healthy for u to remain in this relationship.

U have to consider...who are u really in a relationship with? U can never tell b/c he has a problem with lying.

It sounds like he may need professional help. I don't think u are the one who can help him with this.

I suggest u remain his friend and try to be there for him ,from a distance, while he works this out, if he even wants to. He has to admit he has a problem first. Does he even recognize it or want to change?

I think u should not pursue a romantic relationship with him until he gets help and u feel that he is really finally being sincere in everything and how he operates.

Good luck!

Honey, i am going to be really honest with you. You have to break up this relationship. He may never ever stop lying for the rest of his life. In fact he may lie so much he may end up believing his own lies. He is never going to change he needs therapy. For some reason he lies could be something he did to cope growing up. But usually people lie for attention and to cover up some insecurity. You can not fix him or the situation. You are probally already starting to lose respect and trust in him. Its not easy to break up. But you will end up regretting him and hating yourself for it.

So if he will lie about those things how do you know he didn't lie when he said I love you ?? Trying to build a life with a compulsive liar is like building a house on quicksand. I wouldn't even bother.

My ex husband is just like this. Lies about eveything, all the time. We have been divorced over 12 years and the guy still lies. Tells untrue stories, makes himself out to be something he is not. The list goes on and on. I could not handle it and divorced him.

Your boyfriend will never change.

I dated a guy like that once. Relationships are built on trust. You can't have a relationship if you are always questioning whether or not he's telling the truth. What else is he lying about? You need to tell him that either he gets mental help, or you are leaving him.

I have been in the same situation before. I found that the small lies that don't really hurt anyone tend to turn into big ones that end up hurting mostly you!
