I actually think this is a sensible question, as it is entirely hypothetical and designed to make people think. Would Jesus have been happy if he knew the religion he was going to start was going to be responsible for so much death and suffering throughout the ages in his name??? I think not. It was all a bad plan from the start. So if Mary could've aborted, it would have saved many more lives. That would have been Christian!

No she wouldn't. Mary trusted God and was honoured to carry the promised seed of Israel. Anyway, Jesus could only be killed when his hour had come. Many people tried to kill him before the crucifixon but couldn't because it wasn't time for him to die. Had Mary tried to abort her child, she would have been unsuccessful.

With respect grow up. It's not the teachings of Jesus that result in millions being killed (I've studied then for over 10 years and find nothing in there to support such a claim) but people using them as an excuse. You need to learn to distinguish between what is done in the name of something and what that actual teaches. Such myopic views of yours only serve to cause further problems not solve them.

Jesus didn't have all that much to do with what's gone wrong. Paul is the one who got everyone headed in the wrong direction.
Since Paul never met Jesus either, it's entirely possible that he would have latched on to another radical teacher to create a religion around.

NO! And how horrible of you to suggest such a thing. Would you kill a child? Mary had compassion far beyond you and me. She was a great woman, worthy of being the mother of God. She would never have killed an innocent baby, no matter what.

No. She did a good job of doing God's will. She also knew that she could not be responsible for other people's actions.
More people have been killed over money. Shall we eliminate it too?

Your question is kind of moot since they didn't have abortion in the day and she wanted to have the baby because an angel told her she was carrying the Messiah.
