if you don't normally have just a one day period i would consider yourself pregnant until you get some confirmation you really arent. i know two different people who mistook a "one day period" as their period and found out later down the road they were a month further along in their pregnancy than they first thought because they didn't realize that it wasn't a period.

when the fertilized embryo attaches to the uteran wall you can have spotting that can be mistaken for a period.

so it sounds like you might be trying since you are tracking your ovulation, if so all the best and good luck!

if you are tracking trying NOT to get pregnant i hope that everything works out the way you hope.

either way, good luck!

go to babycenter.com and play around with the ovulation calculator. that should help. FYI: keep track of your cycle every month (you can even do it on yahoo calender) and that way you can know within 1-2 days of when to expect your period. It will help out a lot.

Sorry, I didn't read the full question. If after you take a pregnancy test and go to the doctor and find out if you are pregant or not, then follow the above instructions.
If you are pregnant: congrats!!!!!

You might already be pregnant. Sounds like the one day of your period was actually implantation bleeding. Try a urine test.
