Yes, most of the people in the world are delusional.

When was the last time you have heard of a Hindu or Buddhist suicide bomber?

When was the last time India or Tibet went out on a holy war?

Apparently you are another one of those delusional people if you think Islam (assumed by your name) is at all peaceful.

DjStabMaster... Bushido is not based on Buddhism in any form. It is the Japanese samurai code of conduct developed during the 11th century.

Perhaps looking into their philosophy AND practice would yield an answer.

As to a previous answer, Bushido isn't considered part of Zen Buddhism. See link below. While I follow Bushido and am working toward being ordained a Zen priest, Bushido isn't part of the religion.

And you can cite examples where Buddhists have been directly involved in promoting violence, as opposed to having their belief system used by secular authorities for political gain as in Thailand. Buddhism opposes violence and all forms of tyranny.

Are you kidding? The U.S. is a Christian nation that makes war on all the other nations in the name of peace. (Democracy) Us Europians arn't much better.

I follow Bushido, a form of zen Buddhism, and there is nothing peaceful about it, but it is highly moral.
