The verse of equality of all human kind, revealed in the 7th century:

Holy Qur'an, Surah Hujrat Chapter 49: Verse 13

In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)."

I have lived in four countries and travelled to many more and the universal greeting of "As salaam alaikum' opened so many doors. People you've never met before and know nothing about treat you like one of their own, whether you are black or white, rich or poor, speak their language or not. This is true freedom, true equality, true brotherhood.

:)

The diversity I see in it. I'm Catholic personally. I was taught by my mother and grand mother from Mexico, but I live in Los Angeles, and because of the way my dad is I have been to church in English, Spanish, Korean, Latin and have seen many faces from every shade. I enjoy seeing that...I do hope that Pope John Paul II inter faith talks don't go down the drain, because when it comes down to it, all the major world religions teach something akin to be good to each other, don't hate and don't kill...I really wish people would remember that...

The people of my synagogue. It is a synagogue of people from the Mediterranean and the Mid-east. I adopted them, and they have always made me feel like family. Being with them makes me understand more and more how my religion is the continuity of history and G-d and his people. And, I am happy to be a part of that.

The absolutely coolest thing about Mav's faith is what God did with Mav - and how God allows her to talk with people like you without regret.

I don't have a religion. I have a personal relationship with The Living God. The best part is that He is always with me as my comforter and guide.

That the living God seeks me out for a relationship.

He doesn't need me. Things would go on without me...

...but it simply amazes me that He would want a relationship with me. He has given me the gift of salvation. My place in Heaven is sealed. I don't have to worry about it. I don't have to earn it. It was a gift.

Wow...He loves me more than I can fathom...He loves everyone that way.

John 19:30, Jesus said on the cross, "It's finished"
It's finished, it means Jesus already did everything for me. My sins was paid on that cross. All I have to do is obey Him and live a holy live.
“For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,”- 1 Peter 3:18
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Romans 11:6
And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

I don't have to earn my way to heaven.. It's finished.. All I have to do is ask Jesus to come into my heart, repent, and put my trust in Him..
