Well first if they have been missing for 3 days you should file a missing person report with your local police dept. For my dept. we are required to contact the local jail, 3 area hospitals and the morgue. But it depends on the policies and procedures your local dept has setforth.

^^ Andrew S. Where are you getting this information from? "Contact all the jails in the country"? You know how many jails are in this country? The police are NOT required by law to contact all the jails in the country, just the local jail.
