i believe men are weaker emotionally because women can "feel" what others are feeling and we aren't afraid of showing our feelings.....men think it is too feminine to show emotions.....i wish men could show them more cause it would make relationships alot easier sometimes!!!!!

Good luck with that question.

Honestly, I think it depends on the man and/or the woman. And it changes from time to time. Being a woman, I tend to think that women are more emotionally stronger than men. We deal with things very differently than men do. Of course, that's just my opinion. Men may say differently. :)

well... i wouldn't use the term "emotionally weak".... that implies that the other gender is "superior to the other"... i believe men and women are equal, but different.

with that said, both men and women have different stereotypes when it comes to emotions..

women break down a lot, they cry more often, and display "unstable" emotions much more frequently than men....

but if you stay current with the national suicide stats... men (white men for that manner) have the highest suicide rate, a man is 3x more than likely to (actually) succeed killing himself, then women,

so who's more emotionally weak? it depends on your bias... if you think men are superior, then women are; if you think women are superior, then men are; but if you think men and women are equal but different, than neither.

Women show emotion readily, men are not suppose to show the emotions.

This makes them more vulnerable to emotions, all the pent up emotion can make them emotionally very weak.

kudos to my man, he gets up at -45 below temperature and brings in wood for the woodstove, feeds the farm animals and all this with a positive attitude. Kudos to me, having had five babies with the positive, loving attitude God presented to me when i need it. Both men and women have what it takes to whatever extremes are called for in both sexes. no such thing as weak emotions.

proven psychologically,
men they are so tough outside, but a melting icecream inside... so fragile to emotions,,,,so hard to manifest a courage to share whats inside and what seems to be a trouble, ego.
women they are as gentle as rose outside, but an iron steel inside..because of our abilities to comprehend what to do in a case of emotional crisis... we have solutions and outlets that no man can do... we are like sponge... absorbing pain of our feelings, then once full, squeez it out in so many ways, tears, crying, talking, shopping, laughing with friends etc...
when men are placed in a jungle they will 100% be a survivor...
but when they are placed at the crowd of children, women, elders crying and in chaos.... they will be insane, for women, takes even the worst turbulence of all emotions ever born... girl power!!!^_^

I hate to admit, but I believe women are. We are designed to be nuturing and socialized to invest our feelings into whatever we give attention to.

In a way it is a blessing, because it means that there are people in the world that actually "give a d@mn", but it can also be a curse when we are in a bad situation because it makes us more vulnerable.

Women like to think they are stronger emotionally.

In our own interests, men should let them believe that is true.
