You need to discipline him when he is bad and reward him when his is good. If he throws a tantrum, ignore it or hold him (so he doesn't hurt himself) until he calms down. Then encourage him to talk about why he was upset, but don't just give him anything he wants because he screamed. You need to give him clear rules and consequences for breaking your rules, kids WANT boundaries. Good luck.

Sounds like he may be spoiled. He is obviously not afraid of you or he wouldn't feel comfortable yelling at you. He is only 4 and you shouldn't take it personal. When he says he hates you. Tell him that you love him and always will, but that doesn't change the fact it is not tv time, it's time to go to school or what ever it is he is hating you for at the moment. Also, make sure if he does not do what he is told that there are consequeses (like a time out, no tv, ect) it is important that you enforce them consistantly and don't give in. If you beleive it is a more serious problem contact a parents help line, your family doctor, or a child phycoligist to be sure there are no serious problem. Hang in there!

If his not wanting to communicate with you right now ,than maybe you should try and find someone that you know he will talk too. and have that person sit down with him, and talk with him about how his feeling, and what's going on in side of his little head and heart. I'm sorry to hear that, i have three boys and i know how it feels, to feel like your babies don't love you

First of all, pray about it! No matter what, always tell him you love him. As for him being glued to the TV, take it away! Whatever you do, do not reward him for screaming and complaining.
I hope your troubles end soon, and God bless!!!
