i have recently dumped my bf and then i got together with one of my guy friends. me and my guy friend like each other lots. we have lots in common the only problem is i .have no clue what to talk about.....

If you're having trouble finding stuff to talk about.....it sounds as though you really don't have that much in common. words should flow freely with someone that you have a lot in common with and with whom you are on the same page with. may need to think this relationship over.

Here's an idea sweetie.
Make a joke. From that joke, make a commet. Let the conversation flow easily.
Otherwise, be comfortable in silence. Don't pressure conversation or think you have to talk to him.
My best friend hein and I sometimes spend hours in pure silence and we've been friends for 12 years. I like him a lot and he can tell because I'm comfortable around him and don't always talk.
Another suggestion is find something to do that doesn't involve him. Example. I do capoeira , hein does kung foo. I have lots of things to tell him about what I did during class and he has equally the same amount to tell me.
Best of all be yourself. Thats what guys love most of all

And don't listen to everyone about the whole "if you can't have a conversation you can't have much in common" its not true. Its just cause you're nervous. Honestly

Well if you have all this stuff in common then why don't you talk about that?
It sounds to me that maybe you really dont have too much in common if the two of you can't have a conversation about anything.

too many ppl have that problem...
i used to, but my bf dumped me, so i don't have that problem anymore. we used to talk about what we did that day, the weather, my favorite things, what he liked about me, what i still like about him, and lots of other stuff. once you get on the phone, it will all come naturally.

Talk about your interests/his interests. Talk about daily life. Talk about sports mainly football and which team he likes. Or try another sport/hobby/interest/liking.
