Much to my dismay as a child my Mum always served brussel sprouts, don't mind them now...but as a kid...anything but!

I think the trick is to serve everything with Yorkshire puddings! As long as those are on the plate and the promise of trifle for dessert anything from the vegetable department will do.

We always have roast potatoes, carrots, brussels sprouts or maybe cauliflower and peas. Not a veg, but don't forget the
"Paxo Stuffing"!!

Mashed potatoes. Roasted carrots and onions. And green peas. All smothered in brown gravy....yumm.
