Yeah, you see if you add "millions of years" it all makes sense to them, children see this as a fairy tale, the atheists think its "evolutionary science" - idiots

But no scientist has ever theorised that we evolved from 'rock'. The entire known universe is made up of the same building blocks or 'chemicals', there are about 118 of them, and everything from sun, sea, sand, sky and ALL living matter is made up from these.
Life is merely a combination of chemicals, and the 'slime', you describe is a unique combination generated from the atmospher and other substances that was around during the time. The process although not fully understood is a logical one, and you can see 'how' these chemicals interacted and combined to form those very first signs of life. The ingredients were there, but maybe not the mechanics, yet what we don't know can be filled in with logic and assumption that's not really too far a bridge to jump.
whereas the beliefe in 'god' is based on books written by men from an age of superstition and lack of knowledge, interpreted over thosands of years and what we don't know takes a 'huge' leap of faith. No logic or educated guesses on your side.
Yet you beleive this because this book tells you that if you don't you will go to hell. So who is the weaker minded, those who worry that if they do not believe they will go to hell, so psycologically they accept this as truth (it's how many con artists work) or the atheist who is not fooled by such psycological nonsence and can live their life free in the knowledge that they have not been conned.

WOW, the stupidity of this question is so deep, I don't even know where to begin....
1) The bible is a human-created, socially-constructed series of documents. No two copies of the earliest existing manuscripts from the new testament are identical because they were transcribed by hand for several hundred years.
2) According to some christians, the end of the world (or as you so eloquently put it "He is comming back very soon" - only 1 m genius!) has been coming for 2,000 years.
3) There is more proof for the Big Bang Theory and Evolution than there is for ANYTHING that happened in the bible.
4) ATHEISM IS NOT A RELIGION! It is not based on a belief system, it is based on fact. The fact that there is NO GOD!!!
It's obvious that you don't have the brain power to light a night light. I counted at least 10 spelling and grammar mistakes in that one paragraph.

I don't believe that my ancestors were apes and monkeys. You believe that [our ancestors were apes and monkeys]. Nowhere in my rants did I ever state that. I believe we have a common ancestor and that the two species split off to evolve on their own.
I believe, in a time period of 4.5 BILLION years, a lot of things could happen. Those would include the creation of our planet, the evolution of our environment, the creation of our moon (possibly from earth itself), the building blocks of life forming out of many different elements within the "ooze" and the subsequent development of all life. The good thing about time is that, anything can happen within a period that long. Even the creation of life.
What do you believe in? That man was formed from dirt, that woman was formed from the rib of man. That god smited all life on earth once before in a flood and that Noah carried with him a pair of all species of animals on this planet. You believe in the virgin birth of the son of god, his crucifixion, ressurection and then ascension into the heavens. And that all of this happened in a time period of 5-6000 years.
Hmm, which scenario do I think sounds less absurd? Ascension into heaven? I think not. Besides, my scenario has a lot more substantial proof. Yours has a book called the bible. A book that is roughly 3000-4000 years old and is full of hate, barbarism and myth (not including the god myth). Sure, there may be some historically valid stuff in it, but that alone does not prove the existence of god.
Yeah.. it doesn't take a lot (one 'a' and a space) of brain power to figure out that your religion is a joke. But thanks for playing and have a nice day.

Jean - why when you write to me, you come off as seeking answers, but then when you post questions, you post them with such disdain and hate?? Ya know, PRIDE is a mortal sin in your God's eyes....
Certainly, if you knew what you were speaking of, you might find the story of God more appealing. Rocks have DNA?? However, none of us have had monkeys for great grandparents. You need to learn the differnece between a shared ancestor and a common ancestor. we SHARED an ancestor....
furthermore, religion is a set of rules, dogma that is invented and cannot be changed. Science on the other hand, changes whenever new evidence is uncovered. That makes is quite the opposite of any religion. So, seems the only joke here is religion, not science.
Lets examine what you beleive in - you beleive some all powerful, all loving, omnisicent God created man. This creation is then less than perfect and sins....so this all loving God condemns this creations of his (his own monumental failure) and condemns the offspring of his creation to live life on earth. He then invites his creation to worship him, and threatens his creation with eternal damnation for failing to worship him. Then, even though he is omniscient and SHOULD HAVE SEEN IT COMING, he has to send his own son to die for mankind's sins - to save us from the wrath of this very same God.
and you think science is a big joke? What kind of story is this? If God was truly all loving and omnisicent, he would have known his creation was going to fail annd he would have stopped his creation to save the life of his son he so greatly cared for. Or, maybe he simply doesnt exist...

Gimme a break, lady. You don't know zippity doo dah about what I believe. This is possibly the single most ignorant question I've ever seen here. You ASK us what we believe...and then proceed to TELL us. If you can't do better than this, go play in the kids section.

Believing in either (god or evolution) wholly without questioning and solid proof is like believing in Santa Claus.
BTW I am sure your nasty negative tone is going to go a long way to converting people. Put people down, yeah thats how to get people to believe you. I don't think Jesus would be doing that.

It doesn't take a lot of brain power to follow something without question, including your bible. But you believe what you may. I hope you find happiness soon. You sound a tad angry!

Forgive me, but you're lack of knowledge on the subject of evolution is quite sad, further you make some rather radical leaps of logic, DNA of a rock?? Please, although I myself believe in a higher being, I do not presume to know the universe nor do I shamefully use my faith in such a prideful manner.
Humble yourself before whatever God you believe in and leave others to humble themselves before theirs or not.
It is not for you to judge others, nor is it for you condemn. I believe that God, for lack of a better term, has revealed itself in many ways, through nature, science and thought. Just because someone believes not, does not negate their existence or their right to it.
Now take your pride and go, you have much to answer for.

the biggest joke is that in your diatribe, as you go on and on, preaching on your little soap box, your spelling, syntax, and sentence construction is pathetic. if you are such a die-hard believer, why are you so angry and self-righteous? doesn't that go against the very teachings you believe in? i hope you don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

Just keep thinking like that Jean and ultimately the joke will be on you. Hopefully God will have mercy on misguided individuals like you who exist in a self constructed living hell.
