My wedding was also all pink and for the reception and flowers I made sure to do every pink. Not just one shade. This will give t more depth and make it feel less like peptomismalt.
We did sheer pink table clothes and the bridesmaids wore black. They carried bouquets that had lighter pinks and mine was darker pinks. The flower arrangements on tables were put in silver terra cotta pots.
Another great pink idea is a pink candy - bar. Have clear jars of pink candies and pink funnels to have your guests scoop the candy into. You can have pink jelly beans, M&Ms, skillets, etc. It's very funky and very in style.

First of all I am a PINK fanatic but I have to say the all pink wedding is scaring me! I definately agree with those who commented on using background colors and maintaining the pink as your accent color. Before finally finalizing my bridesmaids color & gowns I too wanted them to wear pink and have pink flowers and all. After much research I actually ventured away from the all pink idea. I think it came off very over whelming and a bit juvenille. Since I am going for a more sophisticated, formal, very classy look. I found my bridesmaids gowns in a beautiful bronzy chocolate brown like color and they will be carrying hot pink peonies in their bouquets (which are my favorite flower) The pink is absolutely stunning with the brown in the background. I am much happier with this overall look. What ultimately helped me when deciding was finalizing the flowers I was going to use. Speak with your florist see what flowers are going to be in season and then you can better make your choices. Good Luck :o)

I think that's great, pink is really bold and brave!!
I would use it sparingly for the reception, don't overload the senses, possibly balancing it with white alot. Salmon might be a neat idea for a main dish. ;) Also you could have the option of a rose wine on the tables, or if you are really daring a fruit wine made with strawberries or red currants. For wedding favours there are great little French-pastries you can make or have ordered called "Petitte Fours". They resemble little cakes and you can make them any colour.
Good Luck!!

There is a thin line between classy and overused...be careful not to cross into the overused side of the line :) A few things you might want to consider would be pink lighting on the walls or columns (depending on if your site has white walls), a pink fondant cake, pink linens, floral centerpieces with shades of pink and a pink "candy buffet" for dessert.

If you can not uncover decorations you prefer, why now not make your possess? Almost some thing will also be spray painted. Buy what you prefer and paint it the colours that you simply wish in your marriage ceremony. Papercuts, vegetation, branches, lovers - all of it will also be custom-made in your colours. Cardboard containers spray painted to a prime black gloss with gold accents stuffed with stones for weight than stuffed with sizzling purple vegetation might seem lovely. Dried vegetation will also be spray painted as good as recent ones so long as you thoroughly paint them so the are sealed. Just hand then the other way up on a cord. Driftwood will also be painted too - and rocks. You might stencil dragons, lovers, some thing you wish onto paper desk cloths. You might purchase the conventional putting decorations within the colours they have got and paint them your self. Use your creativeness. I used to be simply brooding about if sizzling purple cotton sweet might be made into centerpieces that your visitors might consume? You might order sizzling purple sweet and include it into centerpieces too. Congratulations and feature amusing!

There are so many different things you can do with pink- however I would vary the different types of pink you use. Some deepr pinks, close to red, lighter pinks to drinks, table covers, flowers. Just dont use one color of pink, which can really make it bland.
Sheer cloths over the table, pink or red table clips for the ends of the tables, pink and white lights strung from the ceiling with silver tinsle to set it off, use a darker color napkin than the table cover itself or vice versa.

Try using pink black and white like a 40's type of setting. Lots of ferns and sophistication. Then the pink can be used sparingly but effectively at the reception.

Subtle pink accents will do you better than putting in everythingin pink.Like maybe a pink center with hot pink confettiand a white table cloth. The rest of the decor can be in coordinating colors like white, black silver, cream, ivory or beige.
Good Luck.

there are tons of ways to do a reception in pink - but you don't want to go overboard on the color - maybe use some pink florals (balanced out with greenery) for your centerpieces - or use candles - you can always balance things out with creams or silvers or even blacks
grab an oriental trading wedding edition catalog or modern bride for lots of great ideas

Have a cake decorated with pink icing. Drink pink champagne, have pink tablecloths, decorate the tables with pink and white flowers. Cover the tables with pink pieces of material, with pink ribbons to tie them back.
