However, there is a correlation of pregnant mothers who drink while carrying and the offspring becoming alcoholic.

There is no correlation between breastfeeding as an infant and alcoholism as an adult. Alcoholism(and other addictions) are caused by a gene. That's not to say that everyone who has the gene for addiction will become an addict, just that they have a higher chance of it.

put it this way, i was breastfed and i haven't yet hit the bottle, i don't even like alcohol! i think that that's just a myth, there are plenty out there. maybe the rumour has been started by people who have had an uneasy and unstable childhood, so they feel that drinking is their only option. â¥bâ¥

No, not true. Where did you hear such a ridiculous thing? People become alcoholics because of other problems in their lives or because they simply enjoy alcohol.
