No,l don't do it. I left early once in similar circumstances and whilst I was on my way home the boss sent someone out of the meeting to get some info from me - only I wasn't there....did I have some explaining to do the next morning!!

Yes go home and if you get caught out and your boss tells you off say you felt sick or promise to make the time up on another day.

Yes. By all means. Go now and your boss will get out of his meeting early and look for you because he has this really important assignment for you and won't find you there and will get upset and fire you when you show up for work tomorrow. Good luck!

i would love to say just go but if you are having niggly thoughts in the back of your mind then you know " its not polite" and you will not earn any Brownie points.Go on dear and make me a cuppa might be the only other job you will get but then again the boss will know you are prone to a bit of ar*e licking

You can guarantee he will pop out the meeting for something the minute you move from your desk its always the case. No chance of me escaping but everyone else seems to come and go as they please!
