I apply Jesus and parts of the Bible, not the Koran or Muhammed, but I try and apply them to Islam when I can, the exception is when faced with my own extinction. One of Jesus orders was to buy a sword, but not to live by it. I draw it only in self defense when my life is threatened by anyone of any belief system. I live the peace, tolerance and live and let live the rest of the time. It's only when faced with a weapon I draw my own.
Everyone has that right.
A Sunni when faced with a Shite holding a weapon has a right to fight back and visa ve.
A Palestinian faced with a weapon from an Israelli solider has a right to fight back and visa ve.
A Hungarian when faced with the weapon from a Russian solider has the right to fight back and visa ve.
I'm not into mass martrydome!
I'm into peace and live and let live.
It bugs me when I read in papers like the Guardian that some women in Iraq get hasseled by men over the view or talking on cell phones in public or driving a car.
It reminds me of the time when I wore brown Khaki's and walked in a neighborhood and got acousted by gang members because of the "colors" I was wearing.

PBUH and PBUT? What the heck do those mean?
Jesus, if he ever lived at all, died nearly 2000 years ago. Mohammed died over 1500 years ago. Their "teachings" are barely relevant at all in a world that has changed dramatically since then.
How can you possibly "love" someone you never met, never will meet, and who died thousands of years ago? It's impossible by any definition of "love."
If doing what you do brings you comfort, I'm happy for you. From what I see, the teachings of these two men -- and how they're applied by their followers -- have brought nothing but pain, misery, death, and war to the world. I believe the human race would be much better off had they never lived and never gathered such fanatical cult followings.

Well, what I can do is just try because no one in this universe can keep all of his commandments but don't be dismayed there is a life after death for the same spirit that resurrected Jehoshua on the third day will resurrect us and I am looking forward when we shall be his brothers and sisters in the coming age. Do You?

By obeying God's 10 commandments. That's how I show my love to God. (Love the Lord with all your heart , soul, mind and strength and love your neighbor as yourself)
By serving the Lord, He's my master and I'm His servant. Whatever His will and wherever he put me, have to be ready.
Do all things for the glory of God.
Forsake all sin (1 John 3:8-10 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
The Imperative of Love
10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.)
Do the great commisions ( Matthew 28:19
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit)

I am a Christian. I love Jesus. The teachings I follow (or at least try to follow) every day are:
Matthew 22:37-39
37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[b] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[c]

I think the most important thing Jesus said is in MT ch 7:
In all things, do to others as you would have them do to you.
I try to live by this by being kind to others, help when I can, be truthful and respectful to others. That is how I want others to treat me.

If you look at God's law,and think about it.It really makes good common sense.God loves to see his children happy, and his law doesn't in any way keep his children from happiness.

I cannot love a dead man, only his memories and teachings...
I try not to judge people, I believe that was his most important message...
