It might be worth enquiring at the shop you bought it from. Obviously you wouldn't get back as much as you paid but they probably could re-sell it

Well, if you have looked on eBay then you know a sad fact: nobody IS going to give you anywhere near what you paid for it! The same is true for wedding dresses. There is a premium on wedding dresses and accessories as new items which are very much a luxury generally to be used once, and then, perhaps, treasured forever. It is certainly possible to re-sell items, but even thought they have- of course- been very little used, they are nonetheless second-hand in a market where everything being new and pristine is the name of the game! So the price will be very low if you are going to compare it with what you paid for the new item...

Donate it to a Thrift Store, you can claim what you paid for it in a tax write off, and someone else can have a pretty veil for a almost decent price. Helping others is a nice thing.

Are you selling it for money or are you selling it for space in your wardrobe? If it's the latter, it shouldn't matter!! I've sold some things that are nowhere near asking price! If you have trouble selling it, I'll buy it!! As long as there's not too much detail!! :) Seriously, how much are you looking for?

It's not easy to sell second hand wedding dresses let alone veils. Keep it as a memento and maybe your daughter will wear it when she gets married one day.

Ebay is a great place but you wont get out of it what it is worth to you. Make sure you start it at whatever you want out of it or put a reserve on it.

Put it on eBay, but put a reserve price on it. This way, people will know that they have to pay a certain amount for it and you won't sell yourself short.

no one wants a used veil....take what you can get on ebay or craig's list OR save it for your daughter or other family member.
