Yes I do. As I think everyone should. They need comfort and love before they go out into our ugly little world. I feel this reminds them that whatever happens out there they are still loved and accepted at home. Little mushy I know but kids really need this reassurance even if they dont think so. School can be a harsh world these days.

Yes As much as they will let you! I am the mother of 3 boys ages 24,19 & 18 we have a rule that we never hang up the phone, go to bed, leave the house or anywhere else without saying I love you and or hugging and kissing eachother. My boys are not and never have been embarssed to do this in front of their friends or anyone else. We are very close and I do not have to worrie if God forbid something should happen to one of us that the last thing I said to them was that I love them hug them and kissed them evenI had a very close friend as a child and her parents had had a very bad fight, the husband got up and left in his truck about 4 miles from home he had a heart attack wile driving and hit a light pole and died. she never got over it she was only 50 and not 1 year later died in her sleep. I am not sying she died because of him but she was never the same person.

Yes everyday and there was this one day when she wouldn't let me give her a hug and kiss cause her friends were there and I cried all the way home and felt horrible all day and then when she got home I made her cuddle with me for an hour while I told her i loved her like a million times.

Yep before they get on the bus, in the house... when I pick them up in the evenings, my daughter wants a big ole hug and the boys are fine with a pat on the back and how was your day. They want their hugs and kisses anytime one of us leave the home or leave them anywhere and when we put them to bed at night.

My daughter demands a hug and kiss anytime I will be leaving her for anything. Before bedtime, when I drop her at daycare, if I leave to go to the store. It's just a ritual and she will throw a fit if she doesnt get her hugs and kisses.

Every time I see them (the oldest is 32 now), but even through High School they got hugs. I overheard a conversation between my sons and their friends one time "Doesn't it embarrass you to have your mom hug you?" " Hell NO, I am proud that she is my mom and loves me" -- this came from a Junior and Senior in High School!! Guess I did it right - I still get lots of hugs and kisses.

My husband is 24, my BIL is 25, and they get a hug and kiss from their mom every day. Well, my BIL only comes over once a week, so his is a weekly thing.
I say, do it every chance you get. Not to sound morbid, but you never know when the one you just gave them will be the last. Now, everybody go hug and kiss your babies!!!!!

Yes. I walk him to school every day. He won't go into the school until he gets a hug and a kiss.
