I currently have cable, but it is getting soooo expensive. I have not however had any problems with the service etc. Anyone with an opinion they would share. I live in the Minneapolis area, but that shouldn't matter.
Thanks

Yes, cable and Directv are expensive. Dish is awesome in price and quality and the picture quality is top notch, also when it rains. You'd have storms in order to have the picture be bad or disappear but that doesn't happen often with me.

You might check out http://www.dishnetworkbargains.net and take advantage of their current promo. If you have any questions just call 'em up, doesn't cost anything except a few minutes of your time :-)

Hope that helps.

Best wishes
Mike

For the money, you get more from DISH network than you do from the cable company or Direct TV. I've had it for years and have always found it to be a great value. The only drawback is that a heavy rain or deluge will interfere with your Dish's ability to receive a signal from the satellite. In other words, during a heavy rain, you can't watch anything at all. Other than that, it's tops. The picture is super clean, the sound is great, and the service is prompt and courteous. Good Luck!

Dish Network gives you the bigger bang for your buck and the best in programing choices especially High Deff and family programing. Sure Direct has the NFL Sunday ticket but well the other crap they got on there aint so good. Would you be associated with a sattelite company that's owned by the crappiest auto manufacturer out there (GM) and that has way too many porn channels and that rips people off. I don't think so. Go with Dish.
