If you want to keep leading zeros, you need to change the format to TEXT. However, if you save it as a CSV file and reopen it, you will lose the leading zeros again. If you really want to see the actual values in a CSV file, open it in Notepad.

A quick fix is to format the cell as something other than number. (Hold CTRL and press 1, change format to text for example and press OK.)

Put an apostrophe ' in front to the telephone number. This tells Excel to put it in just as typed

When you use ' anything stays exactly as you key it after that.
For example: '0057876 will be 0057876
If you don't use the ' it drops the leading zeros.
