i doubt anyone will be offended as you asked in a very non offensive manner :)
Yes God is God. however God came to earth in the manner of Jesus Christ who was fully God and human at the same time. it is quite obscure when looked at in a flat out scientific manner. that is one of the things with faith -- it's part mind and part heart. I'm Catholic and thus follow the concept of the TRinity - God the Father, God the Son and God the HOly Spirit - three parts of the same being. someone once compared to a 3 leaf clover - same clover, different part. another compared to water - steam, snow and basic water -- three parts of the same item.
God the Father is the CEO, God the Son (Jesus) Is the COO -- he handles the day to day operations giving us the rules and regulations - God the Holy Spirit is the CFO - making sure we have our "spirit ("finances") in check :)
God bless you in your search!
PS - never be afraid to ask - people will not take offense when the questions are sincere and non offensive!

In the bible we see the Godhead. First we see God the Father, then God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
One God, three unique identities are revealed. Or titles if you want to call it that. For example: You are a son, brother, uncle
three different identities, yet the same person. This is exactly how God is... Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God the Father, Creator of the heavens and the earth.
God the Son(of the flesh), who came to earth to save the world not to condemn the world.
God the Holy Spirit, the Comforter who came after Jesus went to be with the Father and to prepare a place for us.
God is God, in the scripture LORD (is God the Father), Lord (is God the Son).
God created man in their image. Who's image? God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
In the first few verses of Genesis we see all three represented.
God the Creator, God the Light, and God the Spirit.
Jesus is found in every book of the Bible, Light in Genesis to "first and last (alpha and omega; the beginning and the end). He is the "I AM" we find in Isaiah and in Revelation.
Jesus is God in the flesh!

Read John 1:1-14, John 20:28; Romans 9:5; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 1:8; 2 Peter 1:1; Isaiah 9:6
If you are not familiar with Bible references, the number before the colon is the chapter, and the number after the chapter is the verse or range of verses.
Jesus is both fully God and fully man. Some passages speak of his humanity, and others speak of his being God.
Hope this helps.

God the Father, Jesus the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit are three different aspects of the one God. It is called the trinity.
Look at it like water. Water, ice, and steam are all water but in different forms.

God is three parts. God the father, Jesus the son and savior, and the Holy Spirit, the intecessor and comforter. God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit are one in the same.
I could go on and on explaining it. If your interested, or have questions, email me. I will NOT try to convert your religion. Im glad to see you looking into understanding it, not many do. But I will definitley not try to convert you.

The story goes, the devil thought he killed God when Jesus was hung on the cross. The devil's plan was to take over the throne of Heaven, but it backfired. When Jesus died, not only did he suffer a physical death, but he took on all the world's sin upon him when he was on the cross. He was the perfect sacrifice. That is one of the reason's Jews stopped sacrificing, because Jesus was the perfect sacrifice to end all sacrifice.
Before Jesus ascended into Heaven,he instructed the apostles, when you baptize someone you do it in the name of the father(God),the son(Jesus),and the holy spirit(resurrected Jesus).
Also,Jesus stated in the bible:If you have seen me,then you have seen the father.

All is god and the holy trinity is part of god. Jesus Christ is part of this trinity. When we approach a non-dualistic system with a dualistic perspective it is impossible to see. GOD is non-dualistic. To refer to anything as God is correct, even Lucifer is God. God is all there is. The goal is to see the illusion as an illusion and not reality. God is the only reality! We are on a path of understanding. Thank you for allowing me to join you.

I am so glad that you are looking nto other religions. keep it up; you might just find that there is more to life then making lots of money and buying cool cars.
In the Bible, one of the diciples asks Jesus if they could see God.
He says: if you have seen me you have seen the Father (God)
God he Father, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit are the holy trinegy.
they are three, but they are one. like a three leaf clover!

And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven." Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, "Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them, "Why do you question these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise, take up your bed and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" --he said to the paralytic-- "I say to you, rise, pick up your bed, and go home." And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"
To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen. Romans 9:5
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13
For to us a Child will be born. To us a Son will be given. And the rule of the nations will be on His shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Teacher, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16
I Worship Jesus Christ. There is no other name given in which we can be saved.
Jesus is God.
