Are Muslim woman supposed to cover all their face?
Why do some muslim woman cover their head only and then others cover thier whole face? Is covering the whole face the way it's supposed to be or is it just some woman exagerate?

Thanks. It's very helpful to know. Well, i guess the prettier you are, the more you have to cover right? I understand. I wonder if it's not the same for men. Men in Islam are alowed to show there head, neck and cheeks... It's all found in the qua'ran?

If you look at the Qur'anic verse where it says to tell the believing women to lower their gaze and pull their garments over their bosoms it means to cover your whole self. There's a controversy over this verse. But if you read it with logic you will discover that Allah (SWT) wants us to be chaste by covering ourselves completely except for eyes. In the same verse it's asking for us to cover our beauty and ornaments except what appears. Where does true beauty lies? On a person's face, right? In the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)'s time, women used to cover themselves so well that only their one eye would show. Muslim women are like pearls which no naked eye can see. Only specified men in her family is allowed to see her without her niqab (face cover). God Willing, i hope i made it clear. You can message me for further info, if the need arises.

Well that's a good observation.
Actually this is a controversial subject, among Muslims and both groups have some points to support their view. But the main issue in the wearing of this dress is avoiding the steps toward indulging in adultery and things forbidden by ALLAH. so,the main thing is a prevention of stepping down into something unacceptable.
So, as far you are convinced and not what your emotions like, and after seeing the points provided by each group then you can decide, keeping in mind that the Muslim he him self is the one to judge him self.
Being a controversial issue doesn't mean working against each other but understanding the others point.So, this is the beauty of Islam.

It has nothing to do wither you look attractive or not. and regarding the other point, see what instructions we receive from ALLAH or the prophet PB UH will accept, this is the way we have been taught by ALLAH, because we have chosen Islam as the right religion, and actually this law is working. HOW?
See the crimes related to sex? in the west and the Islamic countries? Sexually transmitted diseases a? so, prevention is better than cure.
On the otherhand is there a restriction to women activity yse to some extent.

Islamic law states that the hair should be covered.The wearing of the veil to cover the face is a matter of choice

No it is not obligatory to cover the face, it is permissible to uncover the face. it is an act that depends on the level of piety. it depends on a woman's choice, but covering the entire body as well as the hair is obligatory.

Muslim women do not have to cover there faces at all. The women who do, do it by choice as they feel they are doing it to please God and to follow the wives of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) after they became widows. As a Muslim women covering of the face is not for me, but definitely support my sisters who choose too.

Islam wants women to stay modest so it commands us to cover our heads yeah sum women do cover there faces, that's there choice but i think its only covering of the head.... ill give u an example of modesty... imagine there are two sisters both equally beautiful one of them is wearing the dress commanded by Islam and the other a mini skirt and they are walking down a street and there's hooligan ready for a prey who will his prey be??...... think about it

they r supposed to cover their hair and body well covered but about the face it's by their choice like exactly someone prays to allah only the 5 prayes and someone else would pray those 5 prayers per day plus more prayers that he wanna be thankful to the gifts allah gave him on earth

both r in Islam....Holy Prophet(PBUH) just asked women to cover thier heads but Omer liked that Muslim women shuld cover thier faces....but its in Islam to cover face,but Must is to cover heads.

No we are not supposed to cover our face,if we do so it is by choice not because of Islam.
