It all depends on what you are looking for:

1. When they were infants we only had one car. It was a little Nissan Sentra (compact) so we wanted something lightweight and small. We also knew that I would mostly like be recovering from a C-section so I wouldn't want anything too heavy. We chose the Double Snap-N-Go. It's just a frame so it folds up small, it's perfect for when they are in their infant car seats all of the time. It's a tandem and both babies can face you. It was completely worth the $99 (babies r us) although I always see them at Twins Club sales and on craigslist.org.

2. Having the Snap N Go also helped me decide whether I wanted a tandem or side by side stroller. I realized that it was going to be challenging to navigate some tight turns with a bulky tandem. However, if you like the tandem style the Graco Duo Glider is sold everywhere. I borrowed one to try it out and didn't like it. Go to Babies R Us and push theirs around the store.

3. I ended up buying the Maclaren Side by Side. I love that it's an umbrella stroller. It folds up small which is nice even though we have a minivan now. It's really roomy. My 7 month olds were comfortable in it when we bought it but it also fit my 5 year old cousin!! It handles so much better than the tandems I've tried. I've never had trouble fitting through doorways with it since it goes through all standard doorways. (The only times I've had trouble fitting were also places I wouldn't have been able to turn with a tandem either).

4. I would think about where you are going to be using the stroller the most, how often you'll need to get it in and out of the car, etc. I also bought a second hand double jogger because we like to go to parks and the beach.

I hope this helps! You might get the best advice if you go to www.twinstuff.com and post this on their message boards. Or, if you talk to your local Mothers of Multiples club.

I just picked out a stroller for one and it took me a while to decide. I chose a Chicco stroller because it had all the features that I wanted. My biggest concern was being able to take off the bar in the front of the seat, not just lifting it up. This allows easier access for you to get the baby in and out of the seat. I also liked the fact that the handle is adjustable for taller or shorter people. The seat lays all the way down and not just half way. While the seat is down it is not too hard to get into the basket underneath.
With twins, you may want to choose one that is lighter than the rest since you will have your hands full, you don't want to exert all your energy into picking up the stroller.

These are just some of the things to think of, you may have other concerns. I would suggest shopping and trying them out in the store, asking other parents in the store what they think.

Good luck finding the right stroller and most of all with your new bundles of joy!!! I am excited about having one, I can't imagine two! Best of luck to you!

hi, There are area-by making use of-area strolling strollers that could accommodate toddler seats. working example, the BOB Revolution Duallie has an non-compulsory toddler seat adapter bar. it is something it is definitely-made and could take you thru preschool. This stroller could be acceptable in case you should do dissimilar community strolling, powerwalking, or strolling (after your infants attain 8 to 10 months and have sufficient neck stretch to stand up to strolling). with the aid of fact it has the front wheel that could swivel or lock, it is impressive to push the two at a walk (undemanding turning) or at a swifter %. (extra sturdy with front wheel locked). despite the fact that, a stroller like that's not one which you will prefer to apply for automobile errands. those double strolling strollers are between 30 to 38 pounds (or so), and that they don't have the main compact of folds. So, you may realistically plan on getting a extra compact double stroller for those circumstances once you merely choose something for a rapid errand.

Not from experience, but just from my thoughts - I wouldn't go with a side by side one either. A stroller is hard enough to get around sometimes, let alone having a wider one to navigate through crowds or whatever. I think my stroller is Graco also. It was just the single one with the infant carrier, not a double, but I do love it. Never had a problem with it.

I recall when my brother was a baby, only 4 years ago... an extra pockey on the back to put things in was much used, ao was one of theose things to pull over the children so the sun isnt in their eyes. Also, when you have a big baby bag, you'll want somewhere to put it. You'll also want something that easily collapses and manuievers. You do want overall quality, but there is so many things that are good and bad (like wheeles that wear down real fast) that you need to weight out the pros and cons of what you see. Always look for what is goong to make it easiest for you to get around.

i have a side by side double umbrella stroller made by jeep, and i love it! i wouldn't recommend it for infants, but once they're toddlers it'll work great for them. this is the only double stroller i've used, so i'm not sure how efficient the other ones are. you should make a trip to toys r us to see if you can try different kinds out, see how easy they are to maneuver around the aisles. congrats & good luck!

You really needed a light weight Tandem stroller. The one I used was called Lil Limo and I believe it was made by Evenflo. I hope that helps, and Congratulations!

Anything Graco. You can never go wrong with that brand, it's always held up and has never failed us. Evenflo is good too :-)

If I had to pick, I'd suggest these:
