nauseous listening to the conversations this guy was having with these women. just nauseating and mushy. is this how women like to be talked to? i felt some opposing reaction coming on in my body where i was getting the urge to chug a beer, lift weights, watch football, burp and grunt just to counter the estrogen induced nausea. how do other guys feel about this stuff? women, is this really how you want to be talked to?

Sure some sweet talk is nice every now and again but that show is completely nauseating, ridiculous, and pathetic. My husband is not the "romantic" type and mushy simply isn't in our vocabulary. I'd rather laugh and have fun than be all smushy mushy.

It's part of the dream, to be courted by a prince, but honestly, it's not the reality. The problem is that so many girls get wrapped up in the dream that they can't appreciate the reality that even though talking like a prince and saying "I respect you for not giving it up," and all the other mushy stuff is a dream, reality is pretty awesome too. But if a girl does say she won't give it up, respect her. Or dump her, because she shouldn't feel pressured to have sex. But you're married so no worries.

Yea, it's how women want to be talked to, but most realistic girls know that this may not be reality, but it's sure fun to dream about.

It's more about the little things that take like zero effort to make women happy. Stuff like before she goes to work, put a note in her purse that says you hope she has a great day. Call her at work for no reason. Buy flowers, and before you get to the house, have one of your kids come around the corner and give the flowers to Mom, and put a note in them that says something sweet like "you're prettier than these," etc., drive around the block once or twice then they get home before you do, then you're the best thing since sliced bread the rest of the evening.

Oh, and ditto notyou311.

As a woman, I feel repulsed, too. This show is a load of garbage. They find women who are idiots who let a guy test them out and other women at the same time. The guy is totally worthless to begin with. And the so-called match up at the end is not for real.
Never underestimate the stupidity of the TV viewer. This show is not seen in my house.

well, basically all women want their men to talk and make them feel that way. I have 3 older brothers, and when it comes to their girlfriend's, they aren't mushy. I guess it's just against guys nature to be opposite of that stuff.

But i think some guys try to give an effort for the Ones they love..

I understand the feeling Mark. I know that women love to here this stuff, and as guys we generally don't say it in such teddy bearish terms. But they do love to hear it. Express you feelings to your wife in the way that she understands how you feel and you keep the hair on your Kiwis. It is a rough dance to maintain, but think about the rewards you will reap.

I have no problem with that...Actually, my boyfriend is a very romantic individual and talks to me just like the guy on "the bachelor" show. Yes, we women truly like that...You can learn something from the show.
