Are they....I dunno...what I do know is that do the job "Americans" wont and get paid pennies for it. Plus employers take advantage of them and don't offer any type of medical or dental or anything. Most of them work 10 times harder than any American in the US. I don't think its right they don't pay taxes. It's unfair for us to assume they all want to be here without paying their dues, some do want to but can't. I dunno, I can go either way on the subject but all I can say is that every American at some point in time was an illegal...heck...didn't we steal this country anyway?

No I dont think illegal immigrants are harming America. In there on way there helping. Would you want to work out in the fields and factorys for peanies????No ofcourse not!!!If immigrants were to leave, Americans would never go out and start picking strawberries for the same money. You would want more. I dont understand why people think immigrants want to take their money. People come out of necessity. Because they have familys to feed and its hard to find good jobs where they come from. As a daughter of an illegal immigrant I know what its like to live your life in fear. Immigrants live in fear. Fear of not knowing if you'll come home that day, not knowing if your arrested and if your familys going to be ok. Even going to the supermarket is a scary!!!!! I remeber always being scared that my mom wouldnt come home one day. Its a scary life. My mom has crossed the borders many times and the things shes seen...............its scary. Shes told me how she had to cross tha dessert and how you could see the bones of people that had died. You cold see people falling and not standing up again. Women with babies in their arms crying of thirst.Why???Because they dream of coming here and starting a new and better life!!! .Because this is the land of opportunities and everyone has the right to be here. Im not saying I agree with everything illegal immigrants do but you guys should be a littile more sympathetic. And you know what??? They have the same right to be ehre as you and I do. Maybe your not an illegal immogrant, but your grandaparents or great grandparents were. Somewhere along the line someone from your family in your past migrated here. So they have the same rigth as you. Thats all I have to say. Oh and i know immigrants bring drungs and other stuff over, Im not saying thats right. Just keep in mind that just because some immigrants do it doesnt mean all of them do.

I do not believe that people are so blind on this issue. I live in Ca and see first hand the damage they cause. Lots of coyotes mack the people they bring over deal drugs to pay their debt. Our schools are required to give the children free education(paid by tax payers) and in many cases free school lunches (tax payers). Hospitals must treat them in emergencies even if they cannot pay the bill and with no insurance from their job most can not pay so who picks up the tab (tax payers and hospital which drives up our cost). Over 30 % of the prison population is illegal immigrants and who pays for their food, medical, processing and all other necessities(tax payers). In Ca last I heard the cost on tax payers was 19 billion annually for services given (welfare, school, legal processing and help and other cost) If this money was spent helping our schools or medical care for Senior citizens instead of people who do not contribute would it not go a long way toward fixing our broken systems. I will not say that they are evil for coming here: I do not blame them but the burden on our economy is far too great for us tax payers to just suck it up. Also there are people who say they only take jobs we want work but that is simply bull. People here will and do take those jobs when the wages are fair.
One thing that I see all the time but know to be fiction is that the US work force is lazy. That is far from the truth. On average US workers put in more work hours than any other country so check the facts before stating that US workers are lazy. We have more homes with both parentts working than any other country and take less vacation days also. I have been around the world many times and know this to be true not only from my observation but from studies conducted by Governments and colleges.

It depends if you are poor or rich poor low class Americans are whining because they are taking our jobs like let say restaurants, constructions, and fast food restaurants. I mean in my opinion cause I was born in an upper class I won't really care if they take our jobs. But for a low or middle class this really affects them cause they want this kind of jobs.

No but the implications of undocumented individuals crossing the US border is harmful. The majority of those illegals who are here are hard workers who just wish to better themselves. Of course there are a few bad apples in the bunch but they are not even my concern. My concern is with the rise of anti-US terrorists organizations across the world the undocumented individuals entering the country could be terror cell members looking to inflict damage in the US. As for the illegals who are here. . .ask yourself "why are they here?" Then ask your self "Would I do the same thing?" I don' blame illegals for coming to the US I blame my goevernment for not protecting our border.

most are not here to commit crimes, i don't think illegal immigrants are hurting American, people talk about they take jobs from Americans, NO they don't just Americans are too lazy to work. most immigrants work harder than average Americans and that is why employers like them. every employer wants an employee who will not call of work because its raining or its too cold outside.
Americans think they can rely on unemployment benefits so they got nothing to loose if they call off too often and get fired.
I worked in a freezer warehouse for two years where 4 out of 5 Americans that got hire there quits within days, but guest what, the Africans, Vietnamese, Mexicans worked there for years.
If Americans quit been lazy and take their country serious, and work hard, no employer will want to risk jail time for illegal immigrants.

Illegal immigrants are harming our country in several ways. First of all when they are here illegally they are refusing to assimilate into our culture properly and they are refusing to learn english and unite with us in language. They are living off of the government tit not paying taxes and using resources such as WIC and Medicaid. Guess who this is really costing, YOU! You pay taxes and these same tax dollars are the ones that go right into their pockets. I am not against immigrants, just the illegal ones.

Some are and many are not. It's just like some Americans are harming US and others are not. There are good people and bad people in every race even Americans that are US Citizens.
