Please don't get a bull terrier from rescue unless you are a VERY experienced dog handler. You don't know the history of a rescue dog, and they are probably in rescue for a reason. These dogs can be extremely dangerous, especially with an unknown history or in inexperienced hands. If you can't afford a bull terrier puppy, then you really can't afford to keep a dog. A rescue dog is just as much work as a puppy, but with a greater risk in the case of bull breeds.
