Sauza Hornitos is prefect for Margaritas. It is high quality and not too expensive. It's worth a try.

OK.... here's how you judge your tequilas! If you are drinking shots of tequila ( and you should! ) then only ( and I mean ONLY!! ) use a nice bottle of tequila! Everyone has there favorites Cabo Wabo, Patron, Herradura, Corazon, Don Julio, etc. Try them until yuou find your favorite!! Now..... for making margaritas, you dont need a top shelf tequila. I'm not saying you can't use one, but its kind of a waste! I would suggest something that is affordable but not cheap either! Cuervo is fine or Sauza Gold is good too! Margaritas are awesome but have such a power taste of sweetness, tartness, and lime and orange that the tequila taste is somewhat over-powered. You are better off using a good sour mix ( like Daileys ) and not the green garbage that you can buy at the grocery store! It WILL improve your drink! Also..... secret trick.... add a splash of OJ! Good luck!
