How do I form this new habit? I read that you can start by sleeping one hour earlier than usual for a few weeks untill you can get used to sleeping at 11pm. Does it work? My mind seems to be programmed to go to bed at 2pm only. Any other ways to kick this 10-year long bad habit?

got to be at 10 pm with all the light off no tv no music and turn the alarm clock around so you dont look at the time. try not to think about anything. so easy to say but hard to do. try some nyquil or rubituuson which ever usually makes you sleepy when your sick but only for 2 days and atleast 1 hr before you want to sleep. sounds bad but it works!! if not go to the doctor theres pills for that now!!!

in case you like the bonding adventure with your newborn then proceed to do it. every physique that i be attentive to in my view that rocked their babies to sleep continually had a difficulty whilst it got here time to somebody else desiring to place them to sleep. there'll come the day whilst they'll could desire to be weaned from it and it may desire to take one night or 2 months of nights. no you may nevertheless somewhat permit you be attentive to suitable now. however the quicker the extra valuable. I on no account rocked my toddler to sleep. I observed the comparable recurring each and every night from the 1st night I further her residing house. She could combat her swaddle and spit out her pacifier some circumstances yet after each and every week she merely did not combat it anymore. She is often asleep by making use of 8pm and wakes as much as be nursed around 6:30 and then falls asleep for an hour or 2. I do rock her in the time of the day now and lower back with the aid of fact i like to have quiet time together with her. each and every now and then she tries to awaken around 4 whilst my husband is preparing for paintings. I merely tuck her in slightly tighter and supply her a pacifier lower back then bypass away. i observed that if I linger and talk over together with her she wakes up. So usually the main I do is shush her and pat her abdomen gently, tell her goodnight, then I bypass away. i'm attempting to wean her off of the swaddling now and then it is going to likely be the pacifier. So no rely what i assume you will probable could desire to wean some recurring quicker or later. hahaha
