At this point all you can do is drink lots of fluids and get rest. Do you have a fever? If so after being ill so long it may have turned into a bacterial infection that can be treated with antibiotics.
If you take zinc or zycam which is zinc in much more expensive form, within the first 3 days of symptoms it will reduce the duration and severity of your cold by kicking your immune into high gear but does not do much after first 3 days. You can get zinc lozenges for couple or three dollars. But as long as you have been sick you may need to see the doctor to see if you need an antibiotic especially if you have fever now. Good Luck.

As u r right now, u need to start building your body by doing some good execrices early morning. This helps to improve your resistance also. I suggest you to use Baidanath Chavanprash available in any medical shop. This helps u to build your resistance also. Use hot water, do not eat more fruits.
Contact an skin doctor immediately to get rid of allergies. Remember that, prevention is better then cure.

I remember seeing a notice in a doctor's clinic which read: "Don't waste your time and money coming here if you have cold; there is no remedy for it!" The best medicine is consume a lot of warm water. Take a paracetamol only if you have symptoms of fever!

Best thing I've found is monolaurin - it boosts the immune system.
