my boyf idolises me, as i do him but at a party on saturday he and this 'friend' were together all night dancing and having shots, i'm not the jealous type but others were even mentioning it, she was swinging off his neck and he was enjoying it. i was annoyed with him and told him the next day, he says he's sorry but its made me question our relationship, help!

Partying and drink doesn't prove anything - it sound like you have an amazing relationship with your boyfriend, don't let a night of fun and being drunk mistake you for him not loving you. You said you both love each other, and that is not worth throwing away.

It sounds like he was careless, but if he said sorry etc... i'm sure it was a mistake...

If you trust him then what are you worried about? You need to stop letting the rumors bother you. Now on the other hand IF you feel that he stepped over the lines in your relationship I would talk to him civilly and see what all did actually happen. If you choose not to believe him then get out and if you do then learn to let it go and get over it!...either way you have to think if your relationship is really what you thought it was or not.

My god - you were patient - I would have thrown a massive strop and walked out - especially if I was drunk too!

I think it was out of order of him. He has apologised but you must have doubts (understandable) if he will do that in front of you you must wonder what he will do behind your back. Its a pretty crap situation in terms of rebuilding your trust.

Errrr......there isnt a clear solution to all this but giving him a good ear bashing might cheer you up. If he hasnt done it before I would put it down to alcohol and men's never ending egos - the girl is plain sad to be acting like that in front of his girlfriend - its really mean. Unless she was totally drunk as well?

I'm sorry but I would question it too. My boyfriend and I had a flatmate living with us for a while and when she moved in, I felt like the gooseberry. I didn't know until she moved out that she fancied him and wanted to sleep with him.

Beware, but don't have a go at your boyfriend because men can't see it when somone fancies them.

its not a s bad as cheating but he should not have allowed her to be like that with him, perhaps he wasn't handling his drink very well. But mention to him that you have heard others talking about it and that its not what the behaviour of a attached bloke should be doing anf hopefully he will not do this agai. Good luck.

he was just lapping up the attention - we all do it sometimes if we're honest - it's just a confidence boost - if you trust him it shouldn't become too much of an issue, just gently remind him to consider your feelings too

not so much betrayal, but its summit you need to sit down and speak about. if that was me and my boyfriend that would really upset me, and i too would question where we were going.
