ha ha ha, um in short no. It is very dependent upon your hours of flight time, employer, and what you fly.

For example: A pilot who flies for American Eagle will make around $25,000 - $35,000
A helicopter pilot for the Police may make around 35K - 50K
A captain of a 747, 767 can make from 120K - 200K

but someone flying for NetJets (fractional taxi) will make around 25 - 30K

Yes, and in the military you get a good salary, flight pay, free zipper suits (you'll be called this by maintenance folks), and a leather jacket!!

And you'll always be willing to give your opinion to the maintainers as to what is wrong with the airplane.
