Everyday starting at about 8am I get dozens of calls from 1-800 numbers. The phone rings like every 5 minutes and sometimes if you do not pick up they call right back and this continues until about 9pm.
It is driving me crazy and I am so tired of having to get up and get the phone , I have family and friends who call here and I end up missing their calls because I get sick of getting up to check the phone every 5 minutes and never can I have a conversation with someone on the phone without a 1-800 number calling, then I have to sit thier and listen to the darn beep that tells you someone is calling.
How the heck do I get the 1-800 numbers to stop? It is driving me crazy and I tried to tell them nicely not to call yet they still do it so I finally had enough and cursed them all out yet they are still calling.
THEY ARE DRIVING ME INSANE! It makes me just want to disconnect my freaking phone

log on to www.donotcall.org and place your number on the national "do-not-call" list. This makes it illegal for telemarketers to call your number. Of course, it could take several weeks for your number to appear on the list. In the meantime, go ahead and answer the calls, and tell the operator to remove your number from their directory. By law, they are not supposed to call again.
