I've picked this leaf in UK's November. I'm very eager to know which amelanchier it is. Have searched around for hours - please help if you can. This is not standard red/bronzing, (e.g. dying of leaf), it's really distinctive in this particular plant. Highly favoured, as it provides an attrative dense red splash for any garden, or wild park.

You need to give a better description about the plant in general but... it sounds like you have Amelanchier Lamarkii (a popular ornamental).
