Is it possible to have a description of HSE, but not how the HSE website details them. In your own words..

They are the body that oversees, reviews & enforces the legal responsibilities of various bodies (employers, stadiums, funfairs, building sites, etc) with regard to public health & safety.

They are the Organisation who ensures that employers are taking sufficent lengths to protect their employees safety and health. They investigate claims for asbestois victims, visit building sites to make sure employers aren't using rogue practices etc.
