I'm 47 and my GF is 27. She's crazy about me and it's not for any materialistic reasons as she never asks for anything except my time. She has been chasing me for 4 years and I've realized she is sincere and truthful about her reasons for wanting to be with me. She is a petite woman and actually looks about 19 or 20. She is a supervisor in a bank and is college educated. So she is independent. About my only complaint is she is a workaholic and it turns me off.

She and I are also Christian people and I guess that's another reason we met and hit it off as we both got invloved in charitable type of work.

I don't think we should allow society to dictate age restrictions in relationships. There is a 21 year age gap between my boyfriend and I (I'm 27). I have never been happier in my life. Just like with any relationship, it needs to have the essentials like trust, understanding, communication, interests, goals, etc. If those elements are in place, then nothing else matters. Love is the greatest feeling in the world, and age shouldn't stop anyone from experiencing it.

I don't believe there is a problem with your age difference. My husband and I are 12 years apart. I met him when I was 19 and I pursued him. Age is only a number and don't let people tell you differently. If you two are happy, then do what you want. Just make sure the two of you talk about the future, i.e, children and growing old. You are a lot older than her. How is she going to feel about taking care of you when you get old as you are 20 years older than her. It might not be something she thinks about now, but if you do get married and then when you turn 55 or 60 and your health fails, will she be willing to stick around and take care of you, she will only be 40. Good luck

Unfortunately age does matter and if you really think she isn't in it for what you can give her-then you still have some growing up to do. She may not ask you for much now-but once she has you hook, line and sinker--you will be her sugar daddy. No women gets involved with a man without considering the financial gain or loss she may have.

That's a big age difference. I dated a man who was 12 years younger than me and the age difference was definitely a problem. I wouldn't do it again.

She will chill out on the work as soon as she realizes that there is more to life with you. Age diff. does not matter! Try it out! Good luck!

There is nothing wrong with age difference as long as you both want the relationship.
