My buddie who is a rower on the boat I cox got in an argument with me the other day.

(I know this guy has a thing for me but I can't do anythiing about it because getting with a guy on my crew team is off limits and a dumb idea...i hate drama)

Anyways I dated this guy the first 7 weeks of school and to mend what he hurt i made out with quite a few boys in a small period of time each one ended up fustrating and stressing me out even more... So Like Meredith Gray I am knitting, and havn't kissed any boys for the last 4 weeks and it's been great, no stress, no drama, no stressing over boys only school.

He is trying to tell me I am kidding myself and that one is only truely happy when they have someone else in there life.

Does anyone see what he is saying true because I feel so much happier now and so complete with myself knowing I need no one but myself (for the time being).

Do you think we are only happy when we have someone else in are lifes?

If you're a freshman in college, you're what, 18-20? I'm around your age and already married. Since getting married my thoughts on that did a 360. I thought I had to have a guy in my life to be happy. Since I was 13 I haven't been single. Everytime a relationship ended I had another one start that same week. I think you're very smart to put guys aside and concentrate on school. Men are trouble! LOL. College is tough, I know if my husband didn't have me (and our two kids, we got busy fast) he'e be done. But since I came along and the babies came he's had to take less hours and he's even failed a class or two. He isn't focused on school like he should be. Have yourself a summer fling or something, but as far as being happy only when someone else is in your life, no. I think I'd rather be single.

well it's different for everyone. it could be possible that you like being alone so much just because you've been with someone for so long and this is a good change for you. personally, i think that eventually seeing all the happy couples around you will make you sad and you will go back to wanting a boyfriend or someone to be with

Live your life. You are filled with potential. Hang with the girls, go out and have fun and play the field. I have been married before. You can have a great life without them. Drama kills everything. Enjoy the stressless life. You are doing fine!
