Theres absolutely nothing you can do about it chick I hope you weren't counting on the money for your kids or anything.
If you took him to court it would end up costing you more money and it would be your word against his.
Your just going to have to cut your losses unfortunately.
Or you cold send some big boys round for a chat if you know what I mean.

Good Luck

There is nothing you can do about it. Stop wearing yourself out asking for it. You can try lots of different things, even try taking him to court but at the end of the day if he hasn't got it to pay back you'll never get it. In future don't get lend anyone money you can't afford to lose, even if they're good friends or a boyfriend.

I think you'll have to write it off, I very much doubt you'll get it back.

In theory, you could take him to the small claims court - but that will cost you money upfront, and the court could order him to pay it back at £2 a week or something stupid, and that won't help you for Christmas.

you could take him to the small claims court at a cost of around £40. this is for the claim form, you represent yourself. However you need proof he owes you this money.

If that was me, i would give him a good kick up the backside!!
You need to explain you really need it back, have you got kid's? if so tell him you need it for them! he will then feel guilty.Or you could ask for so much a week? better than nothing i suppose! what a rat!
Good luck x x

Have you thought of employing a large family member debt collector?

probably nothing, you should not have lent him the money, the rat will not give it you back now, learn from your mistakes, don`t be too generous in the future.
