Maybe she is waiting for you to make the first move. My mom was like that too.. if we fought, I would have to call her. I used to get soooo upset with her for it but she passed away this July and I would deal with having to call her every time just to hear her voice again even if she was yelling and screaming... Try to call her and talk to her about whatever it is that made you not speak for so long and try to get it resolved... It will be worth it.

i would go and stop by i am sure your parents miss both you and your kids my dad lives 1050 miles away and my mom died on new years eve 2005 i feel like my kids are missing out without grandparents (evan though my dad visits twice a year ) plus life is so short and unexpected things happen all the time you would feel so bad if something happened to your parents and you hadent the chance to makeup with them. i would also leave whatever the problem was alone and start over. i am in a similar boat with my step kids they are mad at their father and i have been trying to get them to come around and be a part of our family again i hope they do soon its hard to be a parent and know that your kids dont want to talk to you it really hurt alot so please call your mama and say i love you ill be over soon and i miss you so much youll feel so much better

Call your parents. Life is too short for stuff like this. You dont want something happen to your parents , an regret not seeing then when you could, for the rest of your life. Make the first move. an I hope all goes well from there !

I think you should stop by and surprise her, that would probably be the best gift on the planet if u have not seen them in over a year i think you should see them u dont have to stay forever just for a little bit

Depends on why you all are not talking,,,if it's because of something silly ,,then make up.Life is too short. My mom died when I was only 23 we were best friends and I wouldn't had changed our relationship at all.But if the relationship is unhealthy especially to the children then stay away.I no longer talk to my dad,,because all his life he has been an addict and very selfish person.and I choose not to have my children in unhealthy relationship with him.

Well if your wrong then yeah.

But if your not then tell her again how hurt you are.

And if its all about Bull then stop this nonsense and drop the kids off at her house.

Thanks giving day is a good day to surprise them and bring the dinner with you.

if they have plans then thats understandable, just make sure to extend yourself.

I think you should, even if it's just for your children's sake. I had a falling out with my parents a few years ago and my fiance and I were together for 8 months before he ever met them. I think if you really love eachother, you can look over the faults and difficult times. You never know when one of them will be gone. Good luck :)

Think about this, life is too short to hold grudges. Yes, parents are a pain in the a**, but they are why your here at all. Your kids deserve to meet them , but if they are mean to your kids or start trashing you at ALL, then f*** them. You might want to leave a note first, good luck!!

lets see here, i kinda know where you're coming from, its been nearly a year and a half since i spoke to my father, but in your situation i think its one of those things where you have to do what you feel is right, so if you feel its something you need to do then go for it, if not so be it, just remember follow your heart on it, its up to them and you how things work...hopefully its for the better
