She get changed right before bed..and doesnt really get too much liquid during the day. She has a bottle before bed...but not immediatley before or anything.she wakes up around 7or 8 most day and has a bottle of milk then with breakfast..and probably has another bottle of juice before lunch around 12...or 1. then probably another bottle or 2 before dinner around 5 or 6. then one before bed at around 8 or 8 or 9pm. But even when she gets changed right before bed she still has a diaper burtsting off of her when she wakes up and she sleeps through the night so i really dont want to wake up and wake her up just to change her..but we are ruining lots of sheets and making her crib smell...We'd like to start potty training her soon. She takes her diaper off alot at night too. But they say if they sleep through the night and are dry thats when they're ready...I just dont know lol. anyone know?? lol

you could switch diaper brands. luvs is really good on leaks. And is she is still in a crib then she can not be potty trained. You have to wait until she is in a toddler bed. which you can put her in now if you think she is ready. that way if she has to tinkle in the middle of the night she can do it all by herself. good luck. Oh and cut the bottle before bed. that will help alot.

first the bottle needs to go she may be upset at first but she will soon forget about it. potty training can start now. As far as the night goes they may need to wear a pull up or a diaper for a while. its not a big deal. Cut out all the drinks at night time and only allow a cup with supper and just about an hour before bed. You can buy water proof covers for beds and that will save the bed. Sheets don't normally stain unless they aren't washed regularly. and if they do then get a stain treater like shout spray. works wonders! good luck

You may want to try the Pull Up diapers. They make 1t/2t ones that should fit a 17 month old. That's what I had to do. I would try giving her more liquids throughout the day and less after 5pm. It sounds like she's not getting enough to drink during the day. Also, at 17 months old, you could cut out the night time bottle. Try giving her a small sippy cup of water before bed.

17 months old is way too young to stay dry all night long so don't even worry about that. I'm concerned that she's still using a bottle at this age. She should have moved on to a sippy cup. Also, if he has a full cup at dinnertime, she doesn't need one at bedtime. Change the bedtime routine to include stories instead of a bottle and that should reduce the amount of urination during the nighttime.

Time to get her off the bottle. She is way too old to be sucking a bottle. And so many times a day. She should be using a sippee cup. She can do permanent damage to her teeth. And the longer you wait after they are one years old, the harder it is to take it away. Both my children were on sippee cups right after their 1st birthday. You can potty train anytime you want to start. My daughter was using her potty at 18 months. She didn't like wearing a diaper, and if she took it off, she used the potty. If she wore it, she used it. She was also one of those kids that like to go naked. She would take her clothes off all the time. She was totally potty trained before she was 2.

She's 17th month old now...try and get her off the bottle, she'll drink less which makes her wee less then she's ready to be potty trained. Obviously don't do it all at once. You need to sort the bottles out first....this will help her teeth also! If she wants a drink before bed give her a beaker or cup. Once she gets used to it she should be fine!

From what you're saying, she's having 5-6 bottles a day. That's a bit excessive. A 17 month old should only be having 3-4 bottles a day (one for each meal and maybe one before bed). She'll quit peeing so much when you cut back on the liquids.

put her in overnite diapers, or use the next size up for night time. Its normal for babies bladders to not grow as quickly as they do.
Get waterprrof crib pads.
You might just have to change her at night. If you're careful you can do it without waking her. it doesnt take more than a minute to take off one daiper and put on the next. dont turn the light on, and dont put her in pants at night so you can get to her diaper easier.

my son is 17 months old and urinates more at night than the day.
i give him mila at 7am 12pm 6pm and at 9pm only 4oz per serving then water or juice thru out the day. after 4pm i only give sips of water not many and only the milk after that!! it helps with the bed wetting you cant just not give your child fluids! after 4pm dont leave the bottle with them!!!also trya larger size diaper for extra room it helped me drastically!! and dont forget the leak protectors on the side make sure they are snug around the crotch. good luck
