Help! I just made an absolutely delicious apple pie. It was perfect, except that it fell apart when I sliced it. Any suggestions to make it stick together?

For a little different taste/texture, add about 1 TBSP of uncooked tapioca to the apple mixture before cooking. Let the fruit, sugar, etc, etc, set for about 1/2 hr so the tapioca can absorb some of the liquid. You don't have the little balls and it adds a vanilla flavor. My mom always used tapioca instead of flour in fruit pies.
