I hear the term a lot but I have no clue what it means or looks like. Any information will be helpful.

white heads are the white, blister looking pimples. Blackheads are little black dots that appear in pores. I believe it's whiteheads that are worse, because they are actually pus.

Theyre both caused by white blood cells rushing to the site of infection. A clogged pore is like an infection. A whitehead is when the surface of the skin is not broken and the white blood cells just sit there. A blackhead is when the surface of the skin is broken and air/environmental effects turns the white blood cells to black. I dont think one is technically worse than the other, but both can be solved by washing your face daily, not touching your face too much during the day, and/or medication.

Black heads are mostly caused by dirt. White heads are mostly caused by oil. Both are infections and both are gross. White heads are harder to get rid of. Black heads are usually more abundant. EWE!
