You've already got one! Everyone has; you just can't see it for the layer of subcutaneous fat that we carry.

To get a six pack, you need to drop your bodyfat content to below about 15%. This can be done by an effective diet and exercise routine. Depending on what your fat levels are at the moment depends on how long it would take you to drop this far.

Aerobic workouts combined with weights workouts are the best ones to burn the most calories. This combined with a good nutritional diet will see you shed bodyfat faster than just dieting or just exercise alone.

Dump the junkfood and pop and this will happen even quicker.
The more you can exercise (up to a limit) the faster you'll burn the fat.

Doing situps and crunches will NOT produce a sixpack if your bodyfat is too high. Avoid doing lots of situps as this will actually start to distend your abdomen. Doing mainly crunches especially how footballers do them i.e. alternating elbow to knee, will work almost all the abdominal region to best effect.

And unfortunately it won't happen overnight - so stick with it, you WILL get there.

Sorry but all the above answers are misguided.

To get a six pack you need....

To get your overall body fat below 10% (through diet and cardio)
To already have genetics that will allow a 6pac to show (not everyone does)
maybe do some sit-ups and ab exercises.

Hi,
I've tried all different diets, and the weight loss is only temporary. I finally tried diet pills on the market are made from Hoodia. I saw this stuff on ABC News. It's all natural and safe, and it works! My wife took it for a month and dropped 20 pounds. I took it for a month and lost about 13 (but I didn't exercise).

I bought the natural hoodia from this website: http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php . I checked the web site address so I can post it here and I saw they're running a promotion now to get a free 2 week sample for only $4.97! I'm going to order this supply for my wife and give it to her for Christmas =)

do a shitload of sit ups, puch ups (work the abs as well), crunches, and other types of abwork, all for hours a day @ a time

Also- the chin-up bar- this will help you develop a 6 pack well also

Lots of sit-ups and leg-ups. Make them a regular everyday thing and increase the numbers that you do. Stick with it, it will take time.
