Looking for less than 100USD decent hotels in ny city during xmas?

The only hotels you would find during that time and for that price are hostels. I do not recommend staying in hostels. Hostels only provide you with the minimum. If I were you I would increase my price to about $150.

good luck on that. New York is one of the highest priced areas in the country, especially during Christmas when they get lots of tourists and visitors. Any hotel less that $100 will probably not be safe to stay in.

You could always try the travel sites like Orbitz and see what they have, or stay farther from the city.

hi, i'm italian and i book hotel through my travel agency in Italy.

i was there in december 2004 and i was been in "Belvedere Hotel" (319 West 48th Street): 95 $ a night x room (double room) or "Metro Hotel" (45 West 35th Street) for nearly the same amount.

Both are good hotels and they are in the middle of manhattan near to the most important places in town.
